摘要: Nine flavonoids (1-9) have been isolated from Kaempferia parviflora. Among these, 5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone (8) and 5,7,3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone (9) exhibited antiplasmodial activity against Plasmodium falciparum, with IC50 values of 3.70 4.06 microg/ml, respectively. 3,5,7,4'-Tetramethoxyflavone (7) compound 8 possessed antifungal Candida albicans respective 39.71 17.63 also showed mild antimycobacterial the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) 200 50 However, none compounds demonstrated cytotoxicity KB, BC NCI-H187 cell lines.
