摘要: Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) with hydrotalcite-like structures containing Co(II) and Fe(III) were prepared used for the removal of direct red 23 (DR23) from water solution. These CoFe–LDHs characterized before after reaction by XRD, FTIR, BET, XPS. The factors affecting adsorption catalytic performance systematically investigated. process followed pseudo-first-order kinetics, while equilibrium isotherm data well fitted Freundlich model. Moreover, exhibited high activity in degradation pH range 4–10. Under a catalyst dosage 0.5 g L−1 H2O2 concentration 6.5 mmol L−1, ratio was 95.6% 30 min. adsorption–degradation relationship presence Intermediates detected GC/MS possible pathway DR23 proposed. mechanism showed that cobalt ions play critical role CoFe–LDHs. Furthermore, maintained three cycles, demonstrating recyclability stability this catalyst.
