摘要: It has been suggested that in the majority of patellar dislocation cases medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) is disrupted. Accordingly several authors over past decade have recommended repair or reconstruction MPFL to reduce high incidence recurrent dislocation. The purpose this review was determine whether a suitable procedure with regards clinical and radiological outcomes for patients instability. A literature search using electronic databases AMED, British Nursing Index, CINAHL, Cochrane database, EMBASE, ovid Medline, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), PsycINFO, Pubmed Zetoc were performed from their inception May 2007. All English language, human subject papers reporting following included. Eight papers, collectively assessing 186 reconstructions, finally included review. Three reviewers independently assessed methodological quality each studies CASP appraisal tool. When analysed, it would appear may provide favourable instability patients. However, critical these number weaknesses identified including recruiting small samples, not controlling confounding variables, providing limited statistical analysis results. Future study address flaws, addition beginning assess effectiveness procedure, different patient groups.
