摘要: Abstract CO 2 sequestration by the aqueous carbonation of steel-making slag under various operational conditions was investigated in this study. The effects conditions, including type slag, reaction time, temperature, and flow rate, on performance process were evaluated. results indicated that BOF had highest conversion, approximately 72%, at a time 1 h, an operating pressure 101 kPa temperature 60 °C due to its higher BET surface area compared UF, FA, BHC slags. major factors affecting conversion are temperature. kinetics can be expressed shrinking-core model. measurements carbonated material SEM XRD instruments provide evidence indicating suitability using model investigation. Comparison with other studies suggests slurry reactor is viable mass transfer rate.
