Factors associated with the introduction of complementary feeding in the French ELFE cohort study

摘要: The objectives of this study were to estimate the age complementary feeding introduction (CFI) and investigate related health, demographic, socio-economic factors. Analyses based on 10,931 infants from French national birth cohort ELFE, born in 2011. Health, data concerning parents collected at (face-to-face interviews medical records) 2 months (telephone interviews). Data milk CFI practices then monthly 3 10 months using online or paper questionnaires. associations between both health social factors tested by multivariable multinomial logistic regressions. mean was 5.2 ± 1.2 months; 26% started before 4 months (CF   6 months). CF   6 months. Couples which fathers France mothers not less likely introduce CF > 6 months. CF < 4 months occurred more than 25% cases. It is important continue promoting clear recommendations, especially smoking, overweight, young, France, nonbreastfeeding mothers.
