摘要: Due to their ubiquity in aquatic environments and contribution total biomass, especially oligotrophic systems, cyanobacteria can be viewed as a proxy for primary productivity both marine fresh waters. In this chapter we describe the development use of picocyanobacterial bioreporters measure bioavailability nutrients that may constrain photosynthesis lacustrine systems. Issues pertaining bioreporter construction, performance field applications are discussed. Specifically, luminescent Synechococcus spp. Synechocystis described allow phosphorus, nitrogen iron accurately measured environmental samples.
