摘要: Patients with severe aplastic anemia (SAA) without a sibling donor receive immunosuppressive treatment (IST) anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG). In the case of no response to IST, voluntary unrelated (VUD) search is usually started. This study analyzes outcome ATG-refractory SAA patients activating VUD search. Of 179 patients, 68 had at least one HLA-A, –B, and –DR matched identified underwent HSCT while 50 also were not transplanted because early death (8), late IST (34), transplant refusal (1), or other (7). Conversely, 61 donor, 13 those ultimately received mismatched HSCT. All but marrow stem cells. Among aged <17 years, significant higher 4-year survival as compared others (79% ± 6% versus 53% ± 10%, P = 0.01). There was advantage independent recipient age when initiated in recent 2000–2005 study-period (74% ± 6% 47% ± 10%, P < 0.05). multivariate analysis, identification tended impact favourably on (P = 0.07). provides evidence for use children adults IST-refractory SAA.
