摘要: The increasing application of sophisticated electrophysiological, radiological and surgical methods to the diagnosis treatment laryngeal disorders requires a profound knowledge size proportions human larynx it's cartilaginous components. Only inadequate data regarding this subject have so far been accessible. larynges 53 patients (28 male 25 female, age 25–88 years, in means 59 years) were removed during routine autopsy 12–48 h post mortem immediatly submitted morphometric investigation. None had histories or visible signs disease. Anatomical preparations performed with customary tools measurements then carried out pair compasses calliper rule. A total 95 on each larynx. These included, aside from evaluation whole organ, identification internal external diameters cricoid cartilage, height length thyroid alae different planes, angle laminae, arytenoid width epiglottic extrenal diameter first tracheal ring. results obtained provide full scale determining extent not only components, but framework as whole. these may contribute precise positionning electrodes electromyography, planning surgery, analysis CT- MRI-scans
