摘要: Audio level control is provided for compressed audio. A processor (100) performs a process (102) that extracts scale factors the audio from an input MPEG data stream (104), alters extracted without decompressing audio, and updates output MPGG (106) with altered factors. All of in (104) arc updated based on parameter identifying how gain levels are to be altered.
