摘要: This disclosure generally relates to stereoscopic images and video signals, more specifically encoding, distributing, decoding signals for use in television high definition systems, teleconferencing, picture phones, computer transmission, digital cinema, as well other applications that include storage and/or over any suitable medium, of still or moving images, combinations a form is compatible with existing infrastructure, without requiring additional system functionality, while providing means allow higher resolution be distributed maintaining compatibility the infrastructure. The techniques hereof can employed, example, distributing stereo 3D movies via optical disk, satellite, broadcast, cable, internet, using current consumers.
