摘要: A contention-type data communication system such as an optical star-configured network comprises a plurality of stations (121, 122) connected with one another through bus (13). To detect signal collision quickly, each the is arranged to transmit collision-detecting packet which has predetermined time length T1 and pulse pattern, then after interval T2. The number or pattern pulses received during period T + T2 from start reception compared that self-transmitted so detected when noncoincidence occurs.
