摘要: UNLABELLED Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) is a major species in artificial forests. The Halomonas sp. KM-1 was recently isolated and found to grow effectively on saccharified wood, resulting the intracellular storage of poly-(R)-3-hydroxybutyric acid (PHB) under aerobic conditions. Under microaerobic conditions, extracellular secretion (R)-3-hydroxybutyric ((R)-3-HB) led degradation PHB. In this study, production PHB (R)-3-HB using were much improved cultures that grown presence urea. level after 36 h cultivation 23·6 g l(-1) ; shifting conditions for 24 h, concentration medium reached 21·1 g l(-1) . Thus, efficiently utilizes produce secretes (R)-3-HB, making it practical candidate use industrial (R)-3-HB. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY forests, its thinning crucial health forests economy. grew caused degradation. chiral compound useful chemical, food pharmaceutical industries. wood dramatically improved, which may positively affect future production.
