摘要: This article takes up the well-known `obligation of a return' suggested by Marcel Mauss. Through material from Ambrym Island, Vanuatu, Central Melanesia, we get view how ceremonial process, and sacrifice pigs especially, builds on distinction between `giving' `exchanging'. Supported phenomenological approach taken Derrida gift as well recent ethnographies parallel to case, argument is that this very opposition driving force process. It argued about transforming gifts into reciprocity thus creation autonomous persons.
