摘要: A motion-compensated video encoding scheme employs progressive fine-granularity layered coding to encode macroblocks of data into frames having multiple layers, including a base layer comparatively low quality and enhancement layers increasingly higher video. Some the in current frame are predicted from different reference frames. The estimates drifting errors during chooses mode for each macroblock maximize high efficiency while minimizing errors.
