摘要: Meiosis is a key step in sexual reproduction.. It required for the production of gametes, consequently fertility, and generates diversity by scrambling parental genotypes. Thus, it central to plant genome evolution The last ten years have provided huge forward our understanding chromosome recombination segregation plants, with more than 50 genes identified deciphering molecular mechanisms Here we review all these findings on meiotic dynamics, including both diploid polyploid species. We discuss their similarities differences compared other model appears that there now an integrated framework better evaluate how meiosis driven structure reciprocally impacts processes.
