摘要: Bacterial infections occur when wound healing fails to reach the final stage of healing, which is usually hindered by presence different pathogens. Different topical antimicrobial agents are used inhibit bacterial growth due antibiotic failure in reaching infected site, accompanied very often increased drug resistance and other side effects. In this review, we focus on peptides (AMPs), especially those with a high potential efficacy against multidrug-resistant biofilm-forming bacteria fungi present infections. Currently, AMPs undergo preclinical clinical phase combat infection-related diseases. AMP dendrimers (AMPDs) have been mentioned as potent microbial agents. Various delivery strategies that infection modulate rate-such polymers, scaffolds, films dressings, organic inorganic nanoparticles-have discussed well. New technologies such Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat (CRISPR)-associated protein (CRISPR-Cas) taken into consideration future tools for skin therapy.
