摘要: Burning coal is one of the most economical ways generating electricity but damaging in terms carbon emissions. Conversely, renewable energy (RE), which produces no emissions, has drawbacks such as intermittency, a lower conversion rate and high cost. In this study, mixed integer linear programming (MILP) optimisation model under constraints developed to address these issues. The able determine low power generation mix satisfy forecast demand Iskandar Malaysia (IM) for year 2025 while being reliable having less impact on environment. includes fuel-switching, RE implementation capture storage (CCS). applicability tested compared scenarios business usual (BAU) various CO2 emission reduction targets (CO2Em).
