摘要: Bench-scale experiments were conducted in the laboratory, aiming to remove aluminum from water. They based on using powdered activated carbon (PAC), which was prepared olive stones generated as plant wastes and modified with an aqueous oxidizing agent HNO3 effective sorbent oleic acid (HOL) a surfactant. The main parameters (namely: initial solution pHs, sorbent, surfactant concentrations, shaking time, ionic strength presence of foreign ions) that influence sorptive-flotation process examined. Good results obtained under optimum conditions, according nearly 100% aluminum, at pH 7 room temperature (∼25°C), removed. procedure successfully applied recover spiked some natural water samples. Moreover, sorption flotation mechanism is suggested.
