摘要: This paper examines the existing literature for alcohol abuse prevention and treatment of African American women offers a group counseling intervention to address culturally specific needs this population. The group, SISTAS: Sisters In Support Together Against Substances, includes curriculum that focuses on key components such as spirituality, self-esteem, racial identity, social support intimate relationships. purpose is raise awareness educate members about factors can lead from drug dependency.
