摘要: The HIV-1 transactivator of transcription, Tat, mediates apoptosis in neurons and may cause AIDS-associated neurologic disorders, which include dementia loss motor control. Here we investigate the ability Tat to stimulate rat central nervous system vivo. Using TUNEL assay, treatment pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells with 1.0 microgram/ml for 24 h was found apoptosis. Further, electrophoresis DNA from Tat-treated PC12 demonstrated fragmentation. To mediated vivo, 20 microgram infused into striatum Sprague-Dawley rats. Histochemical analysis (TUNEL) Tat-infused area these rats postural deviation ipsilateral infusion. These data demonstrate that stimulates vivo causes dysfunction intact animal.
