摘要: It is important to be able accurately estimate the condition of VRLA batteries used in UPS/telecom industry. A common size this application 12 V 125Ah module. While impedance-based meters are commonly perform estimation, only reliable means determining battery SOH through off-line discharge testing batteries. Significant cost savings monitoring could achieved if a meter developed SOH. Battery Intelligence, Inc. ("BII") developing hardware state-of-health (SOH) lead acid sizes UPS and telecom industries. The patented approach combines interrogation technique, such as impedance measurements, with fuzzy logic analysis data. In paper combination AC measurements data 125 Ah were made using Solartron 1280B electrochemical measurement unit. Measurements over frequency range 0.0178 Hz 100 galvanostatic mode current amplitude 300 mA. From it was observed that magnitude at 10 Hz, 5.6 phase angle 3.16 showed monotonic behavior These develop model for estimating an accuracy /spl sim/10%. This has been programmed into handheld tester preliminary test results provided.
