摘要: Abstract Hesx1 is a paired-like homeobox gene first expressed during mouse embryogenesis in the anterior midline visceral endoderm. As gastrulation proceeds, ventral prosencephalon and, subsequently, at E9.0 appears diencephalon and thickened layer of oral ectoderm that give rise to Rathke's pouch, primordium pituitary gland. continues be developing until E11.5 when its transcripts disappear spatiotemporal sequence corresponding progressive cell differentiation, becoming undetectable by E15.5. In present study, we investigated whether HESX1 adult life human normal pituitaries different types adenomas. We analysed, using quantitative RT-PCR method, three pituitaries, seven GH-, two TSH-, PRL-, one ACTH-secreting adenomas, nonfunctioning tumors. mRNA was found all tumors have analysed. These results suggest humans not turned-off as it occurs mice. Thus, might play role maintenance function, well differentiation whose pathogenetic mechanisms remain further investigated. This study on expression life.
