摘要: Abstract A theoretical model is presented to predict the thermal performance of a building with roof ponds. Equations have been derived for estimation steady periodic heat fluxes through slab and outer walls. Energy storage release by partition walls floor has considered. The other cooling loads estimated using methods recommended in ASHRAE Guide Data Book . Hourly indoor temperatures are obtained numerical solution energy balance equation building. algorithm that developed digital simulation presented. effectiveness different kinds roof-pond systems, i.e. shaded ponds, “Sky-therm”, etc. passive coolings examined. studies indicate located Delhi can be maintained below 30°C summer while maximum dry-bulb above 40°C.
