摘要: Learning from nature will give us some important inspiration in designing multifunctional materials and developing new technology. Self-propelled motion is ubiquitous nature. Special wetting surfaces have considerable technological potential for various applications arising their extreme repellent properties toward liquids. Here, we reported the spontaneous anti-condensation on low adhesive superamphiphobic engineered Al surfaces. The mechanism of was also investigated this work. dropwise condensation engineering metals removed autonomously without any external forces out-of-plane jumping coalesced drops. self-propelled merged drops driven by surface energy released upon drop coalescence. Besides anti-condensation, resultant showed robust repellency polar, nonpolar liquids even corrosive liquids, demonstrating stable superamphiphobicity, anti-corrosion, self-cleaning properties. This extend practical fields anti-icing heat exchange.
