摘要: Aims To examine and illustrate the morphological characteristics growth kinetics of Cs-HK1, a Tolypocladium fungus, isolated from wild Cordyceps sinensis in solid liquid cultures, major chemical constituents antitumour effects Cs-HK1 mycelium. Methods results The fungus was fruiting body C. identified as sp. fungus. It grew rapidly at 22-25 degrees C on medium containing glucose, yeast extract, peptone inorganic salts, with specific rate 1.1 day(-1), reaching cell density 23.0 g dw l(-1) 7-9 days. Exopolysaccharides accumulated culture to about 0.3 glucose equivalent. In comparison natural sinensis, fungal mycelium had similar contents protein (11.7-microg) carbohydrate (654.6-microg) but much higher polysaccharide (244.2 mg vs 129.5 mg), adenosine (1116.8-microg 264.6 microg) cordycepin (65.7 microg 20.8 (per gram dry weight). Cyclosporin A, an antibiotic commonly produced by sp., also detected extract. hot water extract showed low cytotoxic effect B16 melanoma cells (about 25% inhibition) significant animal tests, causing 50% inhibition cell-induced tumour mice. Conclusions can be easily cultivated fermentation. biomass contained bioactive compounds activity. Significance impact study may new promising medicinal effective economical substitute for health care.
