摘要: Abstract Effective leaders are critical in determining successful outcomes of conservation programs. As the business and economic leadership literature shows, awareness around cultural differences attributes is important for positive project set inter-cultural contexts. We conducted a systematic review to understand whether, how, influence context was acknowledged when describing leadership. found fifteen papers from different geographical regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America South America) explicitly addressing attributes. further explored how characteristics four key (i.e. motivating others, establishing shared vision, effective communication partnership building) were addressed within these settings. Our shows that discourse on culture influences leader its implications very limited. Awareness sensitivity this as may either facilitate or hinder outcomes, particularly people backgrounds work together.
