摘要: Abstract An ultrasonic technique was successfully applied to remove fouling and recover the permeate flux of flat sheet microfiltration (MF) membranes. Three kinds cleaning methods were used, namely: forwardflushing, ultrasound with their efficiencies compared. It found that associated forwardflushing a new effective method for recovery flux. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis indicated this able layers from membrane surface restore original structure surface. The operating conditions during investigated. In general, high velocity low solution (water) temperature, under same conditions, gave higher efficiency. Moreover, online can reduce enhance horn sonicator employed had frequency 20 kHz power 375 W. Fouling experiments performed nylon membranes 0.2 μm average pore diameter. fouled by Kraft paper mill effluent.
