摘要: In 2018, the consensus meeting for WHO Classification of Tumours Eye decided that conjunctival mucoepidermoid carcinoma should be reclassified as adenosquamous carcinoma, this represented a better morphological fit. To examine applicability terminology, we studied clinical, histopathological, immunohistochemical and molecular pathology 14 cases were originally diagnosed carcinoma. There 7 (50%) females males. The median age was 64 years. left eye affected in 8 right 6 patients. In-situ present 11/14 (79%) comprised in-situ squamous cell (SCC) intraepithelial neoplasia with mucinous differentiation (CIN-Muc). Invasive cases. Group 1 (1/11 cases, 9%) invasive SCC only. 2 (6/11 55%) differentiation, manifesting scattered intracellular mucin, occasionally together intercellular no evidence true glandular differentiation. 3 (3/11 27%) 4 pure adenocarcinoma. Thirteen (93%) underwent FISH MAML2 translocation none rearranged. Two harboured high-risk HPV (type 16 18). combined findings confirm all lesions our study not but predominantly We, therefore, recommend future revision classification to include alongside
