Synchronous Reluctance Motor Parameter and State Estimation Using Extended Kalman Filter and Current Derivative Measurement

摘要: The synchronous reluctance motor is becoming a very attractive alternative to the ac induction machine. This due lack of rare-earth metals in their construction and higher efficiency, which was brought about by recent progress rotor design. However, order achieve an efficient low-cost operation drive, adaptive sensorless algorithm should be utilized cope with machine nonlinearities. article describes observer, can provide estimation position speed, as well core loss inductance parameters. A modified pulsewidth modulation (PWM) switching scheme current derivative measurement method are proposed, together extended Kalman Filter Experimental results shown demonstrate performance feasibility.
