摘要: Abstract Cystic hydatid disease is an important zoonosis caused by Echinococcus granulosus infection. The expression profiles of its parasitic life stages and host–Echinococcus interactions remain to be elucidated. Here, we identified 157 adult 1588 protoscolex proteins (1610 in all), including 1290 novel identifications. Paramyosins antigen B (AgB) were the dominant proteins. Dog (30) adults indicated diminished local inflammation expresses that have been reported antigens other parasites, such as 6-phosphofructokinase calcineurin B. Pathway analyses suggested E. uses both aerobic anaerobic carbohydrate metabolisms generate ATP. involved synthesis metabolism lipids or steroids. At least 339 390 sheep identifications not seen previous analyses. IgGs lambda light chains most abundant antibody species. Sheep enriched for detoxification pathways, implying host effects play a central role during host–parasite interactions. Our study provides valuable data on characteristics, allowing insights into molecular mechanisms Biological significance In this study, worm proteome was analyzed first time. protein identification protoscoleces extended dramatically. We also co-purified with Echinococcus. results provide useful information pertaining behind interaction biology. This increases potential identifying vaccine candidates new therapeutic targets, may aid development probes selective sensitive diagnosis echinococcosis addition, collected here represents proteomic resource subsequent genome annotation.
