摘要: Methyllidocaine, a quarternary ammonium derivative of lidocaine, was tested as treatment for the ventricular ectopic beats occurring in unanesthetized dogs 24 hours after two-stage ligation anterior descending branch left coronary artery. The electrocardiogram (lead II) and electroencephalogram were recorded. Methyllidocaine (4 8 mg/kg) injected i.v. during 1-min period produced significant reduction with no increase EEG activity. Lidocaine administered similarly caused similar antiarrhythmic effects but A dose mg/kg tonic-clonic seizures three five dogs. Both drugs also given (15 to cats. did not induce convulsions four animals whereas lidocaine induced animals. It is concluded that methyllidocaine effective an agent does possess central nervous system excitatory actions observed lidocaine.
