摘要: Abstract There is recently growing interest towards synthesized human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) as baby formula additives, and interestingly also dietary supplements for adults. Currently quite a few manufacturers synthesize HMOs, however, their analysis challenging, both in resolution speed. In this paper an ultrafast high-resolution method introduced the separation of HMOs by multicapillary gel electrophoresis. Two compositions were evaluated with complementary resolving power. One was conventionally used industrial standard carbohydrate matrix, according to charge hydrodynamic volume ratios. The other one borate-buffered dextran gel, which utilized secondary equilibrium borate-vicinal diol complexation enhance resolution. Considering rapid time multiplexing (12-channel system), 96 well sample plate can be analyzed less than 80 min conventional type matrix hour gel. Exploiting fluorophore per molecule labeling stoichiometry, limit detection (S/N > 3) quantitation (S/N > 10) determined 0.025 0.100 mg/mL, respectively, good linearity. Based on calibration plot, quantities several low concentration from sample.
