摘要: The mixed crystals of neodymium praseodymium oxalate are grown by the diffusion a mixture aqueous solutions nitrate and (as an upper reactant) into set gel embedded with oxalic acid. By varying concentration (by volume) rare earth nitrates in reactant, incorporation Nd Pr has been studied. Tabular well defined hexagonal basal planes observed concentrations. X-ray diffraction patterns these powdered samples reveal that ‘isostructural’, while IR FTIR spectra establish presence groups. TGA DSC analyses show correctness chemical formula for crystals, release water molecules (endothermic) CO CO2 (exothermic), oxides as stable residue. fluorescence (XRF) energy dispersive (EDAX) heavy elements qualitatively to good extent quantitatively. photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) studies confirm (Nd Pr) their respective oxides. findings techniques characterization excellent agreement proposed empirical structure oxalates. implications discussed.
