摘要: Correcting the crooked nose remains one of most challenging problems in rhinoplasty. When faced with a twisted nose, rhinoplasty surgeons tend to be divided into those who perform an anatomic reconstruction and prefer camouflage techniques. Regardless approach used, revision rate fairly high. An correction through open was performed. The septum freed from extrinsic forces deformed nasal bones upper lower lateral cartilages. residual true septal injury then evaluated, deformity addressed quadrangular cartilage resection, repositioning caudal midline, dorsal horizontal control sutures. skeletal support reconstructed use spreader-extension graft on concave side batten opposite side. tip set relative dorsum by fixation extension grafts. Residual crus deformities were corrected combination crural spanning sutures or alar spreader With this approach, straightening without compromising aesthetics successful.
