摘要: This work analyzes the impacts of different light-duty trucks (LDTs) on capacity signalized intersections. Data were collected at two intersections in Austin, Texas, and regression analysis generated estimates mean headways associated with various categories LDTs, as well passenger cars. Using estimated Passenger Car Equivalents (PCEs) calculated, these suggest that should be given special consideration when analyzing For example, a single large sport-utility vehicle through traffic is equivalent to 1.41 cars; van 1.34. Such long reduce intersection increase urban congestion.
