摘要: Despite being a relatively new field, nanoscience has been in the forefront among many scientific areas. Nanoparticle materials (NM) present interesting physicochemical characteristics not necessarily found their bulky forms, and alterations size or coating markedly modify physical, chemical, biological properties. Due to these novel properties there is general trend exploit NM several fields of science, particularly medicine industry. The increased presence environment warrants evaluation potential harmful effects order protect both human exposed populations. Although vitro approaches are commonly used determine adverse NM, vivo studies generate data expected be more relevant for risk assessment. As an model Drosophila melanogaster was previously possess reliable utility determining thus its usage over last few years. aims this review comprehensive overview all apparent carried out with Drosophila, attain clear picture exposure health, demonstrate advantages using nanotoxicological investigations.
