摘要: Abstract The effects of ethephon, abscisic acid (ABA), and nordihydroguaiaretic (NDGA) application on the ripening pre-harvest ‘Kohi’ kiwifruit ( Actinidia chinensis ) were studied. fruits treated on-vine at 155 days after full bloom (DAFB) (mature stage) with 250 μL/L 100 μmol ABA, or NDGA. sampled 0, 3, 6, 9, 12 days treatment (DAT), following analyzed each time point: ethylene production, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) ABA concentrations, ACC synthase (ACS) oxidase (ACO) activities, volatile compounds n -hexanal E )-2-hexexnal), expressions AcACS1 , AcACO1, 9- cis -epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase 1 AcNCED1 genes. concentrations gene expression increased in ABA-treated fruit. Malic fruit firmness decreased ethephon-treated fruit, but soluble solids (SSC), biosynthesis, both AcACO1 increased. accumulated drop rate was 4% edible stage 9 DAT. Moreover, production )-2-hexexnal These results suggest that may be ripened by ethephon DAT, thus obviating harvest.
