摘要: Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic is asking health care workers (HCWs) to meet extraordinary challenges. In turn, HCWs were experiencing tremendous psycho-social crisis as they have had deal with unexpected emotional requirements (ERs) arising from caring for suffering and dying patients on a daily basis. that context, recent studies highlighted how working during the outbreak manifested extreme behavioral reactions may impacted their mental health, increasing risk developing post-traumatic stress symptoms. Purpose: aim of study was investigate symptoms, such intrusion potential mediator link between ERs crying at work, whether rumination moderates relationship intrusion-based PTS symptoms among who COVID-19. Methods: An online cross-sectional design performed. A total 543 Italian (physicians nurses) participated in study. Participation voluntary anonymous. We used SPSS version bootstrap-based PROCESS macro testing moderated mediation model. Results: an indirect effect work through mediating role Results model showed via this significant only high rumination. Furthermore, when we tested alternative where direct moderation not significant. Conclusions: As second wave ongoing, there urgent need decision-makers rapidly implement interventions aimed offering timely psychological support HCWs, especially those contexts labor associated higher.
