摘要: The northern Great Plains extend from the valley of Platte River in Nebraska to well beyond Canadian border and Rocky Mountains on west Central Lowlands east (Fenneman, 1931). eastern southern boundaries are difficult define because changes relief, climate, vegetation gradual. Much region is underlain by coal deposits (Figure 1.1).
