Exploring Ecosystems and Health by Shifting to a Regional Focus: Perspectives from the Oceania EcoHealth Chapter.

摘要: This article highlights contributions that can be made to the public health field by incorporating “ecosystem approaches health” tackle future environmental and challenges at a regional level. qualitative research reviews attitudes understandings of relationship between environment priorities, aspirations newly established group (the Oceania EcoHealth Chapter) who are attempting promote these principles. Ten semi-structured interviews with Chapter members highlighted important role such groups play in informing organisations working region improve both outcomes simultaneously. Participants this study emphasise need elevate Indigenous knowledge regard. They also emphasis advocacy ecosystem could bypass silos disciplinary divides, like acting as mechanism for exchange, engagement, action level its ability bridge gap stewardship health.
