摘要: Abstract Although it is still not possible to model in detail the tectonic evolution of Arabian Shield, its can be interpreted terms classic pattern Phanerozoic plate tectonics (the ‘Wilson cycle’). During first stage (900-630 Ma), plutonism was dominated by intermediate plutonic rocks (diorite, quartz diorite, tonalite and trondhjemite) involved a progressive from primitive tholeiitic series are mature calc-alkaline rocks. These formed both ensimatic island arc continental—marginal environments. The magmatic-arc terminated two collisions (680-630 Ma); between an accreted terrane continental microplate continental(?) plate. resulted shift magmatism collision-related granitic (granodiorite monzogranite) (660-610 Ma). final phase within Shield (610-510 Ma) formation widespread postorogenic intracratonic evolved peraluminous peralkaline alkali-feldspar granites. Such granites typically form during terminal relaxation collisions. minor amounts present eastern part well-developed S-type (tourmaline- or cordierite-bearing granite) appear lacking. Minor syenitic were also emplaced throughout about 620 550 Ma. rock assemblage composed approximately 37% granite, 19% granodiorite, 17% trondhjemite, 1.3% dioritic rocks, 7% granite (including 2.3% alkali aluminous granite), 6% gabbro, 1% Plutonic compose 55% outcrop area Shield.
