摘要: High-intensity focused ultrasound is a method of destroying tissue at point distant from the transducer without injuring intervening tissue. A transrectal probe was developed and used to treat 26 canines in order determine feasibility using this therapy humans. Lesions coagulative necrosis which evolved into cystic cavities were produced. Surrounding preserved evidence injury.
