摘要: Cryptococcus neoformans, a human pathogenic fungus, infects immunocompromised humans and causes serious diseases such as cerebral meningitis. C. neoformans controls the expression of virulence factors in response to host environment via various signal transduction pathways. Understanding molecular mechanisms involved infection will contribute development methods prevent treat neoformans-related diseases. produces factors, polysaccharide capsule melanin, escape immunity. Several proteins are reported regulate production factors. In this review, on basis studies using gene-deficient mutants animal models, we outline pathways regulation
