摘要: Using positron emission tomography (PET) and regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) measurements, we investigated the correlates of consciousness in a sequence learning task through novel application Process Dissociation Procedure, behavioral paradigm that makes it possible to separately assess conscious unconscious contributions performance. Results show metabolic response anterior cingulate/mesial prefrontal cortex (ACC/MPFC) is exclusively specifically correlated with explicit component performance during recollection learned sequence. This suggests significant role for ACC/MPFC processing sequential material.
