Summary Candida species are considered as the most important fungal human pathogens, causing a variety of clinical entities, ranging from superficial, cutaneous-mucosal to deep-seated and disseminated infections. A vast body scientific literature, has been accumulated on these pathogens. review literature topics for further research discussed.
