摘要: Endophyte-infected (E+) tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea Schreb.) plants grown in phosphorus (P) deficient soils accumulate more P roots and shoots than noninfected isolines. In a growth chamber experiment, four genotypes DN2, DN4, DN7, DN11, infected with their naturally occurring strains of Neotyphodium coenophialum (Morgan-Jones & Gams) Glenn, Bacon Hanlin, isolines (E-), were cultivated nutrient solution at two levels: 31 ppm (P+) 0 (P-) for 4 wk. The Fe3+ reducing activity extracellular reductants intact root tissues, total phenolic concentration measured. Endophyte infection significantly increased rate (9.6 × 10-3 μmol h-1 g-1 FW) when compared to E- (3.9 10-3) reduction tissues (6.16 4.48 FW, respectively E+ plants). response deficiency, by 375% plants, whereas no significant differences observed was provided. Total 20% greater plants. 7%, decreased 10%. most active zones located along branching secondary tertiary roots. on the surface dramatically endophyte infection, especially under limiting conditions.
