摘要: Tunicamycin, a new antibiotic, halts the formation of physical particles Semliki forest and fowl plague virus, whereas avian oncornavirus which show reduction in infectivity do not contain detectable labeled glycoprotein are released presence drug. In virus-infected cells only protein moieties glycoproteins could be labeled. infected with sarcoma virus neither intact nor their detected. By using protease inhibitor (N-alpha-p-tosyl-L-lysin chloromethyl ketone, TLCK) it shown, however, that carbohydrate-free hemagglutinin precursor influenza is synthesized but presumably degraded by intracellular proteases absence TLCK as consequence lack carbohydrate.
