摘要: Governments should implement nutrition policies that will improve population health. These include reducing the salt content of processed foods, use dietary supplements proven value, eliminating hydrogenated oils contain trans fatty acids from food. Implementation proposed would cost relatively little and achieve significant health benefits within a few years. These therefore have very attractive cost-effectiveness (i.e., they generate quality-adjusted life years [QALYs] at fraction many types conventional medical treatment).
