摘要: Recent studies in young adult females with the fragile X mental retardation 1 (FMR1) gene premutation (PM) have shown subtle but significant impairments executive control and postural stability. Less is known about influence of age FMR1 expression on stability PM. Here, we examined attentional demands reactive stepping using a wellvalidated measure choice reaction time under dual-task interference. We explored interrelationships between step initiation times during concurrent verbal fluency task specific previously reported Our results showed increased interference variability female PM compared subjects. In addition, observed greater costs above breakpoint 81 CGG repeats relative to below this range. Dual-task both movement were significantly predicted by low working memory capacity carriers. Importantly, revealed that messenger RNA level most predictor accounting for females. These findings first provide evidence linking elevated levels been associated toxicity deficits cerebellar motor cognitive networks subgroup at-risk women.
