摘要: Cryptosporidium parvum is a coccidian protozoan that causes diarrhea in immunocompromised humans and newborn animals. Billions of oocysts C. can be released from the infected calves contaminate environment. The severity disease depends on immunological status individual. Oocysts are extremely resistant to many environmental stresses, no effective disinfectant curative agent against this organism available. In our study, recombinant P23 was prepared for application isolation prevention cryptosporidiosis. glycoprotein belongs family protein 23–27 kDa believed expressed different life stages parasite. Immunostaining analysis using indirect fluorescent antibody test showed could recognized surface oocysts. rabbit bound Sepharose 4B used results column able bind specifically only effect specific IgY infection with examined mouse model. For aim, purified egg yolk immunized hens analyze protective immunosuppressed adult mice. more than 70 % reduction oocyst shedding after challenge 1 × 104 These support previous studies other investigators regarding as an antigen it possible design passive immunization strategy based anti-P23 animals humans.
